They will also remove bad odours like urine and rancid food at the source, by killing the bacteria that produces these odours. Suitable chlorine tablets for disinfecting spillages of blood and body fluids and disinfecting cloths and mop heads.
Better than bleach; chlorine tablets have more than three times the antibacterial killing power of traditional liquid bleach, as well as being less harmful to surfaces.
Chlorine tablets can be used for very specific applications by following the dilution guide below. Use more or fewer tablets depending on the application, to create a stronger or weaker solution.
How To Use:
Simply add the chlorine tablets to water following the dilution guide below.
Body fluid spills 10,000ppm: Dissolve 1 tablet in 100ml. Minimum 2 minutes contact time.
Laboratory discard jars 2,500ppm: Dissolve 1 tablet in 400ml. Soak overnight.
General disinfection 1,000ppm: Dissolve 1 tablet in 1 litre. 15 mins contact time.
Stainless steel instruments 600ppm: 3 tablets per 5 litres. Immerse for 1 hour.
WCs, drains, sinks 400ppm: 1 tablet per 2.5 litres. Pour in solution at quiet periods
Food preparation surfaces, floors, tiles 200ppm 1 tablet in 5 litres. Allow to soak for 3 minutes and air dry or use disposable paper towels.
Dishcloths, mops, etc. 60ppm: 1 tablet in 16 litres. Soak to bleach clean and deodorise. Do not soak overnight.
